Based on the extremely popular Concept 30 SR-T, the Nexus
shares 50% of its parts with it. Further refinements include a newly designed
engine/clutch set-up with a direct top-start cone and low slung 240cc fuel
tank under the shaft to improve the balance of the machine. The head assembly
has been modified with an under-slung flybar and convenient main rotor head
button. The main frames have also been re-designed to a modular layout that
gives unparalleled access to the engine. In fact, the complete power train
can be removed from the helicopter without removing the muffler or needle
valve. Designed with a greater ground clearance and integral boom supports,
the Nexus has even greater crash resistance when learning. This, together
with its long main rotor shaft, gives the Nexus greater protection against
boom strikes in the event of a heavy landing. Features SR-X style servo
frames for the most direct linkage layout with a minimum of flex to give
superb agility and precision and a repositioned gyro mount that moves it
closer to the main shaft. An autorotation unit is fitted as standard and
the Nexus also includes a two shoe clutch assembly and special adjustable
silencer. The cooling duct is relocated for greater airflow over the engine.
The Nexus features a stylish moulded body shell and decal set.
