IRVINE TUTOR 40

The new Irvine Tutor 40 sets new standards for getting started in radio control model flying. The full colour instruction book assumes that the builder knows nothing and guides him through the construction every step of the way. With over 160 colour pictures to refer to, the beginner has the best chance of success first time. The Tutor 40 features a semi-symmetrical wing section for the best compromise between slow and high speed flight and will cope with the wide variety of weather conditions encountered throughout the year. The engine mounting system will cater for nearly every engine in the size range on the market today.

SPITFIRE 40 Kyosho’s replica of this instantly recognisable warbird is built almost entirely from balsa wood, which is both light and strong. Supplied in an ARTF format to help reduce build time, Kyosho’s Spitfire captures the classic good looks of this famous aircraft, making this a beautiful scale model, straight out of the box. Supplied with fixed undercarriage, it is possible to fit (optional) retractable undercarriage for a more scale appearance. The kit is supplied pre-covered with its distinctive three colour camouflage scheme, reproduced in a highly detailed matt-finish.

PUPPETEER Over ten thousand Puppeteers have been sold; the reason being that it looks the part, flies like a dream, and evokes all the atmosphere of early flying days during the first world war. A slow fly past of several examples is magnificent. The Puppeteer, based on the Sopwith Pup, continues to sell extremely well and can be fitted with vintage floats for those looking for a new dimension to the hobby.

SWALLOW AF020 The Swallow is a pattern style aerobatic machine. Smooth flying and accuracy are the essentials here and the Swallow does not disappoint. The colour scheme is dazzling and is a great help in following the model around the sky. The Swallow EX is exactly the same specification but with a different colour scheme and a different style of cowl. Construction is all built up giving a light but strong aircraft. Do a few basic construction jobs like joining the wings, installing the radio and engine etc. and the model is ready for flight.
